On the land side of the beach stands Lord Cushendun's splendid and magnificent house, Glenmona, with the little church of Ireland just visible through the trees. Continue onwards on the Glendun road past the junction of the Ballycastle road on the right which is opposite the gates of Glenmona Lodge.
Beech Cottage comes into view on your left. Sitting in a very large, completely enclosed garden. Beautifully maintained lawns, patio area and ample parking area.
Take the next road on the left which will eventually take you over a bridge to the village of Knocknacarry. If you follow the footpath from Knocknacarry you will find yourself back again in Cushendun.
